Objective of the loan:

The purpose of the credit line is to finance investments and development of private companies in the Republic of North Macedonia.


Purpose of the loan:

The loans from this credit line, extended through intermediary banks, are intended for financing investments in fixed assets of private companies.


Sources of funds:

The funds are provided from the RNM Budget in the amount of EUR 250,000,000 in denar equivalent through a Debt Agreement.


Eligible beneficiaries:

The beneficiaries of the loan are private companies registered in the Republic of North Macedonia.
(The exception is foreign direct investors who are active beneficiaries of state aid, and this is proven by a statement by the end beneficiary, certified by a notary).



Terms and conditions of the loan:


Single loan amount for the final borrower:
  • Maximum up to 615,000,000 denars, taking into account exposure to related parties.
Repayment period:
  • Maximum up to 15 years, but no later than 12.01.2040
Grace period included:
  • Up to 3 years.
Interest rate for the borrowers:
  • 1.95% annual, fixed.
Eligible beneficiaries:
  • Private companies registered in the Republic of North Macedonia.
    • (The exception is foreign direct investors who are active beneficiaries of state aid, and this is proven by a statement by the end beneficiary, certified by a notary)
Mandatory criteria for the borrowers
  • The amount of the loan from DBNM can reach up to 80% of the investment amount, while the end user must contribute a minimum of 20% of the investment value.

  • In accordance with the credit policies and procedures of the intermediary banks as well as the terms and conditions set out in the Framework Agreement
